Barb Johnson was more than a friend, she was family and one so honest and true that one can hardly believe she was called away from us so soon in life. Wherever she went she lighted up the room and sparkled with joy and enthusiasm. We loved her dearly and miss her even more. She has set a standard for all of us to follow in terms of friendship, sharing and style. Love, to all who knew her, Don and Liz.

Barb was a wonderful aunt to Larry and then to me (Kathy) when I came on board in 1968. We always had a lot to talk about and enjoyed her company (Bob’s too). Her home was always very wecoming, even with Rodd’s GI Joe stuff strung throughout the lower level (Hector House). She was a gracious hostess for family events, like Thanksgiving, Christmas and even a baby shower for our precious, Kimberly. We are so sad that cancer took her life, which she battled with dignity and now we continue to fight the fight for cancer through Relay For Life and pray that someday a cure can be found, so more families do not have to experience this dreadful disease. Barb will continue to live on in our hearts. Our love to all her family and friends who stood by her in her cancer journey.

I was most fortunate to have Barb as a friend and a sister-in-law. She was truly one of the greatest people I have ever known. We will all miss her very much but we should always remember the love, laughter and time she shared so unselfishly with any and all. There will never be another but we were very blessed to have the time we had with her.
